Roderick Cotton, Managing Member, RCCS

Mr. Roderick Cotton serves as the President and Managing Member of Restoration Christian Cleaning Services, LLC and is responsible for the estimating, budgeting, project management, quality of work, cost control, on time completion, hiring and training crew members, total scope of services and financial reporting.  With over 19 years of experience, cleaning over 6,000 units, he is the backbone of the organization.

 

Mr. Cotton is no stranger to hard work.  Since the age of 12 years old, he worked for his father’s commercial janitorial cleaning company.  Mr. Cotton received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and double minor in Real Estate and Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas while playing football on a four-year scholarship.  After college, he returned to his hometown of Nacogdoches, Texas to attend the Fire Training Academy where he finished in 2008.  After unsuccessful attempts to find employment as a firefighter, Roderick picked up a mop and bucket and started his own company-Restoration Christian Cleaning Services, LLC established in October 2009.  He received his first contract cleaning a doctor’s office suite and a newspaper publishing company office with a crew of only 6 members.  He quickly expanded to cleaning small schools to make-ready’s for construction site cleanups and summer work for college student housing in East Texas.  In 2012, he received his first major contract with Alta Construction Company from a referral by word of mouth.  He became Alta Construction’s front-runner for providing quality commercial cleaning services and working with integrity.  Mr. Cotton also works with Asset Campus Housing, the 3rd largest student housing property Management Company in the nation, servicing over 5 student housing complexes every year.  Currently, he employs over 80 crew members.  In addition to East Texas, he now serves the Houston area, North Texas, and South Texas regions.

 

With a strong commitment to community, Mr. Cotton prides himself on giving back.  Uniquely, he offers a scholarship program to students seeking to attend college.  In 2010, he awarded the first recipient of the scholarship fund. Mr. Cotton also sponsored a basketball camp in 2011 for children in the East Texas Area.
